Walter W. A. Boden, Jr., Senior Vice President of John Hunsinger and Company, is a 1955 graduate of Dartmouth College and earned his Master's degree in Business Administration from Amos Tuck School, Dartmouth College in 1956. 

After serving in the U.S. Navy and enjoying a successful sales management career with Proctor and Gamble – Tampa, FL; Owens-Corning Fiberglas – New Orleans, LA; and Flannery and Associates - Atlanta, GA; he joined Adair Realty Company – Atlanta, GA in 1967, specializing in commercial real estate, including industrial, commercial, office, retail and investment property sales.  He was admitted to the Atlanta Board of Realtors Million Dollar Club for the years 1969 - 1971.   In 1971, he joined John Hunsinger and Company as Vice President and is currently Senior Vice President and Associate Broker and an Active Life Member of the Atlanta Board of Realtors' Million Dollar Club during which he transacted volume in excess of one million per year for the last 34 years.

His professional designations include being a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) of the Realtors National Marketing Institute of the National Association of Realtors, awarded after completing an extensive program of courses and examinations in real estate finance, marketing and taxation.  He is also an active member of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR), a designation awarded by the National Association of Realtors to those experienced brokers who continue to make a significant contribution in industrial real estate.

In 1980, the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors awarded him the Phoenix Award in recognition of volume in excess of one million dollars per year for ten years or more.  In 1996 the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors awarded him the Silver Phoenix Award for volume of excess of one million per year for twenty five years or more.

He is past Secretary, Treasurer and Chairman of the Fulton County Industrial Development Authority to which he was appointed in 1984 and served until 1997;  serves as a member of Fulton County's Economic Development Committee and is a member of the Georgia Industrial Developers Association, Atlanta Touchdown Club and Buckhead Fifty Club. 

He has been a communicant of the Cathedral of St. Philip since 1962 where he was active in teaching children’s Sunday School and is currently a member of the Ushers Committee.  He is married to the former Janet Gail Farris of Atlanta, has two sons William A. and Derrick, both married and residing in Atlanta, having between them six children.
